The Problem of the Family's Conception Concerning Disabled
Abstract

In most fields, the concept of a hospital is disease-centered or disease-oriented and so it is a slave to the thought that medical practice is carried out only by diagnosis and is therefore treatment-centered. But disease itself or its complications cause psychological changes and disturbances of behavior when human being become ill. So the whole of a patient's life and that of his family often undergo great change.

In cases like this, we should expand the range of medical care and develop health care which manages the total function of the whole person so that the patient may receive the most effective and comprehensive care. Therefore the role of physical and rehabilitation medicine will become increasingly significant.
