The therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture by syringe needle in vegetative symptom of chronic pain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of electroacupuncture in patients with chronic painful or non-painful vegetative symptom. Especially, focused on non-painful vegetative symptom, considered to sympathetic dysfunction including cold, cooling, heat, bluish color, sweating, etc.

The good effect of electroacupuncture was showed in both painful and non-painful symptom group. The better effect was found in non-painful vegetative symptom and non-nerve injured group than painful symptom and nerve injured group. As a result, non-painful vegetative symptom was a good indication of the electroacupuncture.
